Bipolar, Unemployed & Lost 
The author of the article itself means well, but to shine such a strong light on the violently mentally ill does us no favors. The vast majority of mentally ill are non-violent. We need appropriate, affordable care with continuity. I am not a mental illness victim, nor have I ever made anyone a victim. I am a survivor.

It looks like the consensus being formed in the comments section is that we need our rights stripped from us, since we are the ‘other’. Maybe they’ll refurbish some of the for-profit prisons currently housing minor drug offenders to “protect” us and others. I guess it won’t be too bad, as long as I can grow pot in loony-prison.
