I have to make an appt with my doctor but I’m going to tell him no more.
I’m down to my last bottle and I’m not refilling.
Time to do this again.

Finding normality within Bipolarity. The inner musings of a chemically challenged manic-depressive. Mildly* asocial and a purveyor of awesome.
Please be careful with this decision. The meds are there to pick you up, not hold you back – talk to your doctor and make sure you stay in contact with them while you come off if that’s what you want to do. Good luck.

Are you stopping one med or all of them? If it is all of them I would caution against that. The physical and psychological repercussions could be severe.

Honey. That is a very dangerous thing to do. The essence of Bipolar is its resistance to treatment, but thinking that no treatment is a good strategy for controlling a very real physical disease is a mistake. Sorry for the frank talk but I know, I know how very badly things can go downhill without treatment. And I know how hard it is to come back from those serious suicidal ideations. So I urge you to explore other options. If this medicine is not working, ask for another. And another. And another. Until you find one that works for you. I will be thinking of you and watching for an update. BIG HUGS!!!
